Q: How is your business different from your competitors?
A: The main point is that the mobile app gets all the data of the student from their university automatically, using its existing infrastructure. This is both a technical and legal competitive advantage, given that accessing universities data is both technically and legally tricky. We have built a network of tight relationships with the most important Italian universities, and we plan to scale it to a much larger audience.
A: Our mission is the complete overhaul of the upper educational system, building something that comes from the students and not from institutions.
Q: Have you received any specific advice that influenced your company’s trajectory?
A: “First do, then talk”. This particular piece of advice dramatically influenced our company’s trajectory: you can have tons of ideas, but if you haven’t done anything more than thinking about them, then you’ll never be taken seriously. If you can prove your commitment by talking about something you did, and not that you’d like to do, then your perceived value is completely different.
